ATLANTA (September 28, 2026) — Memoreyes Municipal today launched Sentry™, the first low-cost system to fuse AI video, physical security, and SCADA for unattended water and wastewater sites. The product targets three costs utilities already carry: labor spent driving to sites that turn out to be fine, the physical and cyber exposure of lift stations, wells, and control cabinets that sit alone at the end of a telemetry/cellular link. The expense of paying separate vendors for telemetry, security, and video that were never built to work together is the technical and economic problem. Sentry replaces what would otherwise be three contracts — a SCADA telemetry provider, a security-monitoring company, and a video vendor built to run on cellular, since most security cameras assume the broadband or Wi-Fi these sites don’t have — with one device and one affordable monthly fee.
Municipal SCADA has long delivered data. Cameras have long delivered a picture. Sentry ties AI event video to the telemetry, monitors the site on multiple levels, and stores years of evidence, moved over encrypted VPN (virtual private network) connections, with cellular data inside one monthly fee. Target install time is under an hour for a basic system. The systems data and video integrates with MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) and web-enabled HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces) such as VTScada, thus seamlessly fusing the two systems.
Memoreyes Municipal calls this fusion SVADA™ (Supervisory Video and Data Acquisition) — a new category of hardware-enabled service for the water and wastewater industry, built alongside the SCADA systems utilities already run, not in place of them. The underlying video-fusion technology is patent pending.
Sentry reduces unnecessary truck rolls. It does not end them. A skilled operator, electrician, or supervisor sees the station before they leave, and spends more of the day on more productive work.
